Reclaimed Redencion

Old wooden barn with a sloped metal roof and open double doors, situated on a flat dirt field under a bright blue sky with clouds and distant hills.

Reclaimed Redencion is a small, local business located in Bozeman, Montana. We source our lumber from aging corrals across Montana and historic barns throughout the Midwest, preserving character that can't be replicated. Every board carries the marks of seasons, work, and weather. It’s wood with a story and we bring that story to your floors, walls and projects.

Definitions

Reclaimed /re’klamd/ describes something recovered, restored or made usable again, such a land, materials (e.g. reclaimed wood / wool), or substances. It implies transforming something from a waste, wild, or lost state back to a productive, useful or improved condition.

Redención in Spanish translates to redemption. Redemption /re’dem(p)Shen/ is the act of saving, freeing, or recovering something, often through a cost or effort, such as paying off a debt, buying back pledged property, or theological salvation from sin. It signifies restoration, atonement for faults or reclaiming something lost, such as redeeming a coupon or redeeming one’s reputation.

Our mission is to reclaim and redeem wood giving it value that otherwise might have been discarded and disregarded.
